Benjamin Naylor recently joined SAK as a full-time Environmental Engineer, after completing his Bachelor of Science in Environmental Engineering at the University of New Hampshire this spring.
A former SAK Environmental intern, he gained experience last summer in permit compliance inspections, ASTM environmental site assessments, AutoCAD, analytical data tabulation and analysis, and emergency response assistance. His greatest contribution (and excitement) at SAK last summer was assisting as a runner between the project site and laboratory, while keeping track of multiple samples and analytical results, during a 24/7 emergency response project in Boston.His internship last summer was funded in part from a grant by the Society of American Military Engineers (SAME) Small Business Committee.
Ben also passed the Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) exam this spring and is a Registered Engineer-in-Training.He is OSHA HAZWOPER 24 and OSHA 10 trained, received training from MA DEP in Waste Ban Compliance Inspections, and has attended EBC seminars on renewable energy development, and sustainable stormwater strategies.
Ben is a New England native, with family roots in Connecticut, growing up in New Hampshire, and now working in Massachusetts.
