Beverly Bootstraps is one of the leading social service organizations on the North Shore, providing food, clothing and education to almost 4,000 individuals annually. Their Cabot Street facility was undersized and strained to meet growing demand for services. BB made a quantum-leap improvement to their operations to meet community demand by purchasing and renovating an adjacent building at 198 Rantoul Street. Located in a densely populated urban area with historic manufacturing, SAK worked with BB since 2014 with acquisition of the adjacent land, hazmat inspection, and surplus soils management. The $3M project provided a modern facility that more than doubles the size of their operation and has designated rooms for client in-take, training, and a food pantry.
