Teresa Demers joins SAK Environmentals’ team of environmental engineers!!

Ms. Demers has 4 years of experience in environmental engineering projects including water and wastewater infrastructure design and compliance.  Her experience includes conducting  field investigations of public and private infrastructure, screening drainage outfalls and analyzing water quality for NPDES MS4 compliance, preparing plans and specifications, assisting with construction administration, and project management/client relations.  Her skills include GPS surveying, ArcGIS, and Storm Water Management modeling.  Ms. Demers earned a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Engineering from Suffolk University as a full scholarship recipient in their CAS Honors Program. Her senior project evaluated risk factors leading to outdoor smoke intrusion in downtown Boston buildings, including identifying pollutant pathways.  She is a Registered Engineer in Training, a LEED Green Associate, and OSHA-10 and OSHA 40 HAZWOPER trained.

Teresa will be working as a Project Environmental Engineer on a variety of permitting, compliance, assessment, remediation and construction support projects.  She brings a solid background in municipal engineering, construction inspection, and NPDES compliance to SAK Environmental’s growing team. We are excited to have her aboard!
