SAK Environmental LLC (SAK) is pleased to announce that Stephen Sakakeeny, Principal, has joined the Site Selection Committee at the Essex County Habitat for Humanity (ECHfH) to assist the organization in searching for, and acquiring property for affordable housing development. A volunteer position, Stephen will help ECHfH navigate environmental challenges associated with property redevelopment, minimize the organization’s risk, and map-out a cost-effective solution for those projects that make sense.

To Help Those Who Do Good Things.
SAK’s relationship with ECHfH started 7-years ago on a multi-unit project in Lawrence, MA that required petroleum remediation. “We saw their good work up close”, says Mr. Sakakeeny, “and the environmental challenges they faced”. Since that time, SAK has donated environmental assessment services to ECHfH, culminating with Stephen joining the Site Selection Committee. SAK encourages all its employees to repurpose their expertise to help those that do good things, like Habitat for Humanity.
